Natto powder

More than 60 years of experience producing high quality and tasty natto.

Natto production is a delicate process. The natto masters adjust the processing time according to the season, weather, etc. Using their vast experience, the craftsmen control the immersion and fermentation time of each batch, check the product by hand, inspect each soybean, and manipulate its fermentation to achieve perfect taste and appearance.

We use just soybeans from Kyushu, chemicals free, non-GMO.

Tasty natto preparation starts by sourcing the best available soybeans. Just a minimum percentage of Japanese natto is produced using local soybeans. Among Japanese soybeans, we use a selected variety of firm consistency and plumpness from Kyushu. This local variety of soybeans cultivated in countryside nature is full of nutrients and flavor.

The powder presentation of natto concentrates more nutrition per gram than fresh natto.

Food drying processes often use heat to remove moisture. Unfortunately, the high temperatures frequently eliminate most of the nutrients too. In contrast, freeze drying is a low-temperature dehydration process which involves freezing the product, lowering pressure, then removing the ice by sublimation. Through this process, the flavor, smell, and nutritional content of food generally remain unchanged.
An additional advantage is an increase in nutrients concentration per gram. A single spoon of powder contains the same quantity of natto bacteria than ten packages of natto.

Natto is a complete food full of nutrition and benefits for your body. Each gram of natto has 16 billion CFU of Bacillus subtilis, which support intestinal microbiome balance by increasing beneficial bacteria and decreasing harmful. Natto is the only food with nattokinase a powerful enzyme profusely studied for its benefits for heart, arteries, blood, and brain. It also contains vitamins and minerals, including vitamin K1 and K2, that controls calcium absorption to bones and teeth.
Natto is a source of 18 amino acids, including all the basic ones our body uses for producing protein.
